Not at all! We welcome everyone from first-time anglers to experienced fishermen. Captain Cody and the crew will help you with the equipment, techniques, and everything you need to enjoy your time fishing.

Yes! Families and children are welcome. Inshore reef fishing is often a great choice for families because it keeps you closer to Anguilla and can provide plenty of action.
Please let us know the ages of your children when booking so we can help recommend the most suitable trip.

Our charters are designed for small, private groups. Our standard pricing covers up to 4 adults. Additional guests may be accommodated depending on the size and ages of your group at an additional cost.

Species vary depending on the season and conditions.
Deep Sea Fishing:
Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi-Mahi and other offshore species.Inshore Reef Fishing:
Yellowtail Snapper, Strawberry Grouper, Jacks, Barracuda and other Caribbean reef species.Fish are wild, so catches and specific species can never be guaranteed.

Anguilla offers fishing opportunities throughout the year, although certain species are more active during particular seasons.
Our high season offers excellent opportunities for offshore species such as Wahoo, Tuna and Mahi-Mahi, while reef species can be targeted throughout much of the year.

Our offshore trips primarily use trolling to target species such as Wahoo, Tuna and Mahi-Mahi.
For inshore fishing, we use light tackle and other techniques depending on the location, target species and conditions.
Captain Cody will choose the technique and fishing grounds based on what gives you the best opportunity that day.

Yes. Guests are entitled to half of the catch from their fishing charter.

Yes. Our 30-foot locally built vessel has a shaded area to provide relief from the Caribbean sun during your trip.

No. Please note that there is no bathroom onboard.

Island Angler Fishing Charter Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. Please review our cancellation policy below:
Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled trip will receive a full refund of the deposit.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled departure are non-refundable, as the boat, crew, and provisions are reserved specifically for your trip.
No-shows or same-day cancellations will be charged 100% of the trip cost.
In the event that the charter is cancelled by Island Angler due to unsafe weather or sea conditions, guests will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund of the deposit.
Weather decisions are made at the captain’s discretion, with guest safety as the top priority.
